Greening Your Commute & Travel

Transportation is the fastest-growing source of climate change pollution in the U.S. – and has always been a large source of such pollution in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the entire U.S. West.

Reducing the amount of vehicle-miles traveled (VMT) is therefore an important strategy in lowering the impact on the environment while saving money on fuel costs.  Some of the most effective ways to do this include using public transit and offering employees the option to telecommute or work from home.
